Pocket Bird Recorder 4.5
Now supports Windows Mobile 6.1 devices with the new 800 x 480 pixel screen size in addition to the 240 x 240 pixel square, 320 x 240 and 640 x 480 pixel screens.  This allows Pocket Bird Recorder to be used on new devices such as the new HTC Touch HD, Samsung's T*Omnia, Toshiba G900 and Sony Ericsson Xperia X1.

Pocket Bird Recorder is compatible with Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 2003 SE, Windows Mobile 5, Windows Mobile 6 and Windows Mobile 6.1.
 
Wildlife Recorder Version 3.2 - Available Now.

The Wildlife Recorder Bird Species Database now contains the IOC World Bird List as an additional taxonomy which can be used to list your data. Many thanks to the IOC team for permission to use this list.

New Google Earth mapping facility, plot your sightings directly onto Google Earth (free version acceptable), exchange your sightings with other people.  Download a sample of a recent trip to Iceland, unzip the contents of the file into a directory and double click on Iceland.kml to see the trip (N.B. you must have Google Earth installed to view the file)

Data exchange with Cornell eBird system is now supported.

Multiple language display of species common names supported, future bird species updates will contain French and German common names in addition to English common names.
 
Pocket Bird Recorder 4.2
Now supports devices with a 240 x 240 pixel square screen in addition to the normal 320 x 240 pixel screen.  This allows devices such as the Treo 700W and iPaq 6910/6915 communicators to be used.  The workflow has been improved to  allow the built in keyboard to be used on those devices.

Pocket Bird Recorder can now be used as a front end to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology eBird system either via Wildlife Recorder or by directly exporting eBird compatible files directly from Pocket Bird Recorder.
